Liesa Van der Aa first plays the violin at the age of 5. She grows up with Mozart and Bach, and later on discovers The Velvet Underground, PJ Harvey and Prince. A voice, a violin and a loop station are the ingredients of her musical concotions. Her debut The Troops has an important visual side: 10 songs equal 10 video clips by artists from a whole array of disciplines. Another remarkable young lady is Elke De Mey aka Love Like Birds. With her single Heavy Heart, she showed the potential to reach an ever-expanding group of admirers.
