Superlijm - pronounce as 'super lame' - is Pieter-Jan
Delesie's band. Think of Michel Preud'homme, all-Stars, flippos, and you
know where you should situate their music: the nineties. Superlijm bring
poppy guitar music: Pavement meets Grandaddy with a contemporary touch of
freshness. You probably know their catchy hit single
Michael Jordan, now it's time for their
debut album Unalaska, Alaska (N.E.W.S.),
which proves Superlijm is here to stay. Equally promising are
JFJ, a Limburg-based indie folk band that sounds like Eels
on a tea party with Wilco.
