Yuko: ‘Cher Ami’ ism Internationaal Kortfilmfestival Leuven

Yuko presents their fourth album, Cher Ami. It is something special: a performance combined with animation films based on a true story about three iconic animals: the dog Stubby, baboon Jackie and the elephant Jenny, who all fought together at the battlefront during World War I. After the succes of Long Sleeves Cause Accidents (2014) Yuko aims for a new adventure, where leader of the band Kristof Deneijs surrounds himself with a some new brothers in arms. Supported by animation fims of Ivan Adriaenssens, Roman Klochkov and Gustavo Garcia and creative collective The Commerce they bring three stories out of the West. A live soundtrack that shines a light on some forgotten war heroes.
