In addition to their genes, siblings Lander and Femke share a great fascination and passion for each other’s profession. He is a drummer; she is a dancer. For their first performance together, they switch roles. To a Jennifer Lopez song – yet another shared fascination – they construct a dance performance with live music: he dances (musically), she makes music (through dance).

For both of them, Lopez’s lyrics are the starting point for a first movement phrase. Then they take over each other’s movement, ‘resampling’ them into a new movement. The music also undergoes a mutual and organic re-sampling process. Their aim is not to surpass each other, but to find virtuosity in each other’s imperfections. Older brother and dramaturge Wannes oversees proceedings, keeping it a family affair.
