Wiesje van der Flier (VUmc Alzheimercentrum) will talk about the importance of faster and better diagnoses. Christine Van Broeckhoven (VIB/UA)will give a lecture on the genetics of this ruinous disease and the development of new treatments. Finally Rik Vandenberghe (Geheugenkliniek UZ Leuven) will talk about the implantation of research results in the clinical practice.
