Moving towards electric transportation and heating, closing nuclear power plants ànd lower CO2 emissions. Is that possible? How do we heat our houses without natural gas? How do we avoid the light going out in a cold, windless winter? Will we soon all have a home battery, a smart house and an electrical car?
We discuss all those questions with:

- Energy expert Pieter Lodewijks (VITO/EnergyVille) replaces colleague Ronnie Belmans (KULeuven/EnergyVille), who cannot attend the lecture on March 13 due to health issues.
- Prof. dr. ir. Jacques De Ruyck (VUB, specialised in nuclear energy, solar energy and thermodynamics)
- Mathias Bienstman (policy coordinator Bond Beter Leefmilieu and author of Op eigen kracht – de bevrijding van gas, olie en kernenergie).

Eos editor Dieter De Cleene manages the talk. There is enough room for questions from the audience.
Do you have a question about energy transtion? Mail it to redactie@eoswetenschap.eu and mention ‘Energiedebat’. Dieter will pick out the most relevant questions and make sure they will be addressed on March 13.

Eos Wetenschap organises the lecture and debate series Grijze Cellen in collaboration with FWO (Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek – Vlaanderen) and STUK.
