In Her, the relation between Theodore and operating system Samantha is surprisingly authentic and natural. Wilfully funny and intensely moving, Her makes you muse about the meaning of intimacy, authentic love and loneliness (in the digital age). Jonze received a very deserved Oscar ànd Golden Globe for the screenplay, Scarlett Johansson was named Best Actress at the Rome Film Festival for her role of Samantha.
