Slow sports kids [8+]

How a boxer dodges a fist at the last minute. How a swimmer glides through the water. But also how a wave travels through a football stadium.

After training at P.A.R.T.S., the Spanish choreographer Albert Quesada went on to develop a language of movement based
on stuttering and slow motion repetitions. These kinds of movements can also be found in Slow Sports Kids, a fun and successful dance performance for children. The piece originates from the movements found in the world of sports. It also shows the game of action and reaction between athletes, reporters and spectators. Slow Sports Kids provides a new perception of both sport and dance. A performance for the sportsperson and sup- porter in all of us.
