A sudden, unpredicted event can shed an entirely different light on what preceded it. unannounced zooms in on the moment your focus shifts, when an appearance suddenly changes form. Six performers take you on a mysterious journey behind the scenes with the black box as a final destination. On the way, they point out little details, without words, which disappear as fast as they appear. What is due to chance and what is staged? In their characteristic, playful style, fieldworks foregrounds the experience of time. We no longer experience time as linear or cyclic, but instead as discontinuous and fragmented. Accompanied by an inventive sound composition and using processes from theatre and silent film, fieldworks creates a physical experience in which the anticipation of what comes echoes with the afterglow of the past.
