Tarek Halaby works on his new production Finally i am no one/Actually i am someone that will be performed at STUK at TASTE festival in April ’09. Residency: 4th - 22nd of August 08,

Salva Sanchis works in the Studio on the new production The live of our songs. Residency: 11th till 22nd of August 08.

Inne Goris and 16 boys & girls of different ages work together in the Labozaal on the new production Naar Medeia that will be performed at STUK on the 3rd and 4th of February 09. Residency 18th - 31th of August 08.

Davis Freeman works in the Paviljoenenzaal, the Labozaal and the Studio on his new production Saving Lies, that will be performed at STUK on the 17th of March. Residency: 1st - 26th of September.

Adva Zakai and Shila Anaraki work in the Atlier 1 on the new production How to spell a piece, that will be performed at STUK during the TASTE festival in April 09. Residency: 25th - 14th of September,


Theater Onderhetvel organises a research lab about ‘the actor’. Residency: 25th of August - 5th of September. 

Orla Barry works with Miles o’Shea, Kate Mc Intosh and Inneke Lievens in the Studio on her new production The Scavenger’s Daughters that will be performed at STUK during the Playground festival in November ’09. Residency: 8th - 21st of September.

Jozef Wouters, Michiel Vandevelde and Menno Vandevelde work on their new production Opera/een werkstuk in the Soetezaal. Residency: 15th - 21st of September 08.

Valentijn Dhaenens and Jeroen Wuyts work in the auditorium on a new play DeGroteMond, produced by SkaGeN. The premiere takes place on the 2nd of October and will also be performed from 3rd till 16th of October ’09. Residency: 15th of September - 1st of October.

C&H works on the project Postcards from the Future which starts on the 2nd of October and runs till the last day of the Playground festival in November ’09. For this project they look for different scenes of everyday life in Leuven and volunteers who want to participate in a photo shoot. Residency: 16th of September - 4th of October.

Suchan Kinoshita works in the Paviljoenenzaal on the installation Inbetweening that will be part of the Playground exhibition in November 09.  Residency: 7th - 24th of October. 

Manuela Rastaldi works between August and December 09 on the rerun of a production and also does research for future projects.

Heike Schmidt does research at STUK and on location for the creation Prayer, a human function that will be performed in September 09 for the Roger van der Weyden year. Residency: 20th - 27th of October.

Ivana Müller works on the new creation Playing Ensemble Again And Again in the Soetezaal that will be performed on the 31st of October (premiere) and 1st of November 09 at Playground festival. Residency: 27th - 31st of October


Koen De Preter works in the Atelier 1 on a new creation. Residency: 17th - 23rd of November.

Ayelen Parolin works in the Atelier 1 and 2 on the new creation Troupeau/Rebano. Residency 15th till 20th of December.Vincenzo Carta and Louise Baduel start a new project about the relation between mouvement and music. It is the first time that they work together since they graduated from P.A.R.T.S. Their research during their residency in STUK will be based on mouvement and on the first meetings with a musician and sounddesigner.

Michiel Soete works on a new production called Per me non Basto. During his first residency in STUK he will work together with three dancers: Antia Diaz, Sara Sampelayo and Sara Vilardo. The première of the danceperformance will be during the TASTE festival in STUK in April 2009. Residency: from 8th to 18th of January, from 23th of February to 1st of March and from 6th to 19th of April.

Raven Ruëll will be writing a  new theatre text in STUK. Residency: from 2th of February to 30th of April.

Julien Maire works on 4 new installations that will be shown during the Artefact festival. Residency: February.

Aernoudt Jacobs works on his new installation Permafrost (working title) from 6th to 29th of March. 

Davis Freeman works on a new production called Saving Lies.  He and his cast will be using the whole building of STUK. The performance will have its première on 17th of March in STUK. Residency: from 9th to 17th of March

Andros Zins-Browne works in the Studio on his new performance called The Host. He will start his project by researching the movements of cowboys on ranchworks, bullfighting and rodeos. Residency: from 16th to 28th of March


Adva Zakai was in residency in 2008  for the first part of the creation of her new production How to spell a piece. In 2009 Adva continues the rehearsals together with Shila Anaraki and Katja Dreyer. The performance will be presented at the TASTE festival in STUK in April 2009. Residency: from  23th of February to 1st of March

Ief Spincemaille works on an unknown project form 18th till 27th of March.

Berlin (Bart Baele, Yves Degryse and Caroline Rochlitz) works on the new performance Moscow. Videomaterial wil be edited and the set will be developed on a special location in Leuven. The première will be on the 7th of May 2009.
Residency: from 1st of April to the 6th of May

Heike Schmidt works in STUK on the performance Prayer, a human function. She starts working with the dancer Anna Melnikova and the first set design will be developed by Werner  Wallner. The performance will be presented in STUK at the festival for Rogier Van Der Weyden in Septemer 2009. Residency: from 6th to 17th of April

Annelies Van Hullebosch works on a theater performance together with Sofie Palmers. The performance I am sorry you have to hear about it this way but better late then never will have the première during the TASTE festival in April 2009. Residency: from 13th to 19th of April

Ugo Dehaes starts working on a new danceproduction. The première will be in 2010 in STUK.
Residency: from 1st to 28th of June

Kate McIntosh works on a new performance in the Studio. Residency from 27th of April to 8th of May and from 22nd to 31st of May



Hans Van den Broeck works in the Labozaal on the creation of his new piece We Was Them that will première in KVS in october 2009. Residency: from 2nd to 12th of June.

Aurélien Froment (Théâtre de Poche / Playground 2008) works on his new film and performance In Alphabetical Order that will be shown in November 2009 at Playground and at Centre Pompidou in Paris. Residency: from 22nd of June to 3th of July.

Christoph de Boeck works form September to October 2009 on the installation Staalhemel. Premiere during STUK START 2009.
