STUKcafé concerts present promising Belgian bands with an edge, all for free! After shows by Tristan, Bombataz, Brik Tu-Tok and Echo Beatty, now it’s PAARD.’s turn. This instrumental trio from Ghent consists of vibraphonist Wim Segers (Flat Earth Society, Compro Oro), bass player Owen Perry Weston (Coely) and drummer Sigfried Burroughs (Kapitan Korsakov). In their creative mishmash they’re juggling with hip-hop rhythms, funky grooves and otherworldly melodies. Come and discover this great Belgian jazz promise.
