A T M O S P H E R E
Four Turkish dancers evoke an image of their social environment on stage. A T M O S P H E R E is the result of an intensive and sincere encounter during which the young dancers shared their world with the accomplished choreographer Marc Vanrunxt. Their different backgrounds, cultural heritage and training have provided exceptionally fruitful grounds for fresh ideas and movements. The title refers to the atmosphere both as (nearby) surroundings and (distant) outer space. With exceptional skill Vanrunxt draws the most ‘stunning’ movements from a dancer and subsequently amplifies them. On stage, the Turkish dancers create a ‘stunning’ A T M O S P H E R E.
