Antwerp-based duo blackwave. has quickly become one of the hottest hip hop acts in Belgium.

Live, their sexy grooves and nineties sound are supported by a jazz band, bringing them to festival stages like Pukkelpop, Rock Werchter, Sziget and North Sea Jazz. It’s been already two years since the release of their first EP Mic check, gaining rave reviews all over, European prizes and nominations for, among others, the Red Bull Elektropedia Awards.

Singles like BIG Dreams and Elusive got heavy rotation on the radio, and the recent single Up There, their collaboration with Caleborate, K1D & Pell, was Studio Brussels’ ‘catch of the day’. Before their debut album presentation at AB on December 3, they present it with an exclusive showcase in STUKcafé. Am I Still Dreaming is out on November 8.
