Have you rearranged the flowers?

By means of text, language use and position- ing in space, Buren play upon the imagination of the viewer. Tableaux vivants appear and disappear. Have we become spectators of our
own existence? Or are we flâneurs in an endless (reality) show? A pop song sets the tone for this performance about consumption, ownership, gender, memory, and the desire to get to grips with imagery. Before the eyes of the audience, Jean-Luc Godard meets Tupperware.
