Lo and Behold

We all use it every day and depend on it, without really realizing it. But we rarely take a step back to look at the endless connections and the somewhat eerie omnipotence of the Internet. In this documentary, German documentary filmmaker Werner Herzog explores our ever-expanding Internet connectivity.

With his usual sense of curiosity and imagination, Herzog dives into the appealing yet frightening future of the internet. He talks to many different people ranging from pioneers of the technology world - like Elon Musk, Bob Kahn and Sebastian Thrun - to victims of radiation from wireless networks or cyberbullying. This combination creates a very complex and contrasting portrait of our modern connected society.
