Mary Reid Kelley

Playground is part of Corpus, a network of institutions that all share an interest in and engagement with performance. Diverse in scale, character and history, these institutions exchange ideas and experiences, and commission new performance work to develop over time and across partners.

After an initial phase with commissions by Orla Barry, Joëlle Tuerlinckx and Emily Roysdon, among others, Corpus has entered a new three-year phase in 2015.

For Corpus, Playground commissions and presents new work by, among others, Cally Spooner (in 2016) and Ieva Miseviciutè. Cally Spooner’s performance at Hotel Theory in The Gallery at REDCAT (Los Angeles) on November 22, 2015, is a first iteration of the project she will develop for Playground 2016. Playground will also bring a new stage production of Mary Reid Kelley in November 2016. A first step for this production is Mary Reid Kelley’s project for TATE Live: Performance Room.
