PRACTICAL INFO

• Everyone aged 12 years and 2 months or older needs a Covid Safe Ticket + identification to attend the performance. Wearing a face mask is mandatory for everyone aged 6 or older, in all indoor areas - also during the performances.

• If you want to eat or drink something before or after the performance in Café Entrepot in OPEK, you need a Covid Safe Ticket and ID (aged 16 or older).

Why is everything as it is? What came before everything was there? And will it still be there or will there be nothing?

Wat was en wat nu (What Was and What Now) is a visual, physical children’s production about the origin of everything. With one big bang, Anna Bentivegna, Zoë Demoustier and Ayrton Fraenk create a world between somewhere and nowhere. They investigate light and dark, old and new, chaos and order, and the transient and infinite. Through the prisms of science and myth, they seek out the beginning and the end. Be amazed by the mystery that surrounds us.

Bentivegna, Demoustier and Fraenck’s first creation at fABULEUS, nesten (4+), developed a sensitive, slightly surreal visual language for children. Now they expand that style further. What Was and What Now is part of Knal! Big Bang.
