Ksaar, originating from Darija, was reinvented by young people in Brussels as a way to describe — and claim — fun and relaxation. Israel uses the concept as a driving force for a shared experience: one in which dance, relaxation, togetherness and expression take centre stage. Israël Ngashi (he/him) – also known as Wild ou Illicite – is an emerging talent within the Belgian krump scene. As a dancer, he moves between competition, performance and community. He is part of the Konzi company and has won prestigious battles such as the International Dance League and Cheza Street. He is also active in the Brussels urban scene as a member of Timiss, where he helps build the local street event circuit.
