To live music, different generations meet as equals, and show the power of community
Bron is a dance performance where different generations meet as equals.
It speaks of vulnerability, imagination, and strength in human relationships.
To the live music of Thomas Devos, the dancers search for what unites them, what connects them, and what kind of future they wish to shape.
With water in a leading role.
With a source as a gathering place.
Where human desire runs ahead of itself, where life flows and overflows.
With bron, Joke Laureyns and Kwint Manshoven return to the core of their work. After as long as we are playing, an ode to the playful human, and promise me, which celebrated freedom and recklessness, Bron becomes an ode to the creative human—about the necessity of ‘making,’ about humans as ‘makers,’ and about the question of life’s malleability. In a poetic and visual language, a world unfolds where movement speaks of the longing to shed burdens, to return to an essence, to find a place to belong. A performance that moves, connects, and reminds us of the power of community.
