Franje (4+)
An adventurous play with materials and magnificent costumes
Franje is an infectious dance performance in which three dancers work with grand costumes. In an adventurous play with materials, they discover how their bodies change shape. A patchwork of fabrics brings a colourful palette to life. More and more colours and costumes appear on stage, until the dancers almost disappear into them. The young audience can sit very close and even participate in this wondrous experiment.
Franje is the result of an international collaboration between the German company Alfredo Zinola Productions and tout petit. Choreographers Alfredo Zinola, Ciska Vanhoyland, and Lies Cuyvers share a fascination for creating dance for young audiences, blending movement and scenography. They invite young spectators to sit up close and actively engage, fostering interaction and connection.
