Ever since their 2016 debut In Dreams, Brussels duo Hydrogen Sea stands for atmospheric dream pop based on the crystal-clear vocals of Birsen Uçar and the electronic universe of Pieterjan Seaux (Zwangere Guy, Sioen, …) For their new album Automata they ditched the laptop and expanded the band with three musicians: former Balthazar violinist Patricia Vanneste, STUFF’s Joris Caluwaerts on keys and drummer Steve Van Gelder (Tout Va Bien). The result is a warm, organic sound, without radically changing their style, as radio singles Run, Cold Water and Flogsta proved. Amidst the madness around us, Hydrogen Sea is still a lovely cloud to float on.

Support comes from singer songwriter Camille Camille, also from Brussels. With her softly whispered folk songs and delicate melodies, she gained a spot in the final of De Nieuwe Lichting 2019. Her debut album will be released in the autumn of 2019.
