INUIT x STUKcafé: Peenoise

Dark and mysterious songs full of minimal synths, crispy guitars and ingenious melodies.

INUIT and STUK enter summer mode with a free STUKcafé concert by Ghent-based band Peenoise! Peenoise is the family business of brothers Cesar, Gilles and Titus Pinoy. As children, they already experimented with music together, resulting in a wayward style the mixes darkness with surrealism. Their songs, albeit catchy at first, are stripped down to a minimalistic framework that sounds slightly uncomfortable. Early 2020 they released their debut album Forevergem, produced by Geoffrey Burton (Daan, Hong Kong Dong, Triggerfinger). In the meantime, they have won the Soundtrack concours, and they recently released the EP Headwalking. Peenoise is joined live by Simon Raman (Steiger, Ivy Falls, Uma Chine) and Karel Naessens.

“Minimal synth lines, crunchy guitars and melancholic vocals are the ingredients of their dark and intimate sound that conjures uncanny yet comforting memories of the future.”
