Aghogho is a soul and afropop artist who effortlessly combines vocals and bass guitar. Her name, Nigerian for “child of God,” reflects the personal warmth and power of her music. On her debut EP 17, soulful melodies merge with afrobeats, funky rhythms, and captivating grooves. As a half-Nigerian artist, Aghogho brings her cultural background to life in a sound that is both danceable and intimate. She has been compared to Nilüfer Yanya, Lianne La Havas, and Zap Mama, and she is also the Soundtrack Laureate of the 2025 Soundtrack Finale in Antwerp.
