Jazz op zondag: FAAR.

Leuven-based trio combines danceable funk with eclectic nu-jazz.

FAAR. is a nu-jazz trio from Leuven. Their sound ranges from danceable funk to eclectic jazz.
Bass and drums lay the foundation with a tight rhythm section, while soaring synths open up the tracks. Influences from Yussef Kamaal, Vels Trio, and Corto.Alto give them a modern sound that lets the audience drift away and draws them into the band's own universe. Their debut EP was released in 2024, followed by two new singles in 2026. Live, FAAR. translates this into a set with plenty of room for improvisation: no two shows sound the same.
