Jazz op zondag: Tobias Volckaert - Ever Present
Since a young age, saxophone player Tobias Volckaert has been fascinated by wind instruments and musical explorations. After graduating at the jazz department of LUCA School of Arts and the Royal Conservatory Antwerp he broadened his musical horizon with several projects such as Abel Ghekiere, Q-some Bigband and the Pierre Lagache Quartet. His project Ever Present is Tobias' expression of everyday thoughts and daily life impressions, varying from playful and hopeful to searching and doubting, with the emphasis on sharing them in a wordless way.

The new STUK season is here, which means it's time for a new series of Jazz op zondag concerts in STUKcafé! Last year was packed with sparkling jazz energy, and we stay on that course this fall. The recipe remains unchanged: every Sunday we offer free jazz concerts (or dj sets) in the most beautiful café in Leuven. Every month you get two live concerts, one special evening with jam by LUCA Jazz, and a dj set with groovy jazz records.
