STUK and Not So Difficult join forces for an eclectic celebration of adventurous hip-hop. KERMIS IN DE HEL focuses on artists working in sub-genres such as grime, drill, spoken word and neo soul, with excursions into noise, performance, punk and electronic ambient. Expect rain and sunshine at the same time in the iconic former nightclub ‘Manhattan’.

Performer, singer and theater maker Dushime has an incredibly powerful voice and a haunting live presence. Her compositions incorporate influences from soul, ambient and deconstructed club music. She shares the stage with varying guest musicians.

• KLEINE CRACK & SLAGTER

A member of the Antwerp collective VHS, Kleine Crack and his producer buddy Slagter release under Faberyayo's Burning Fik label. Possesed raps and nervous, uptempo rhythms make the live shows of this Kasteelbier-loving Memphis-style rapper an in-your-face experience.

• NAH PRESENTS MANIAC INFERNO

Michael Kuun a.k.a. NAH is a Philadelphia-born, Belgium-based drummer and producer. His work is characterized by runaway rhythms, virtuosic sampling techniques and a general sense of confusion, alienation and fear. In his new audiovisual show MANIAC INFERNO he reflects on his ambiguous relationship with contemporary American culture. “It will be loud. It will be raw.” A co-production of VIERNULVIER and STUK.

• BLACKHAINE

Top of the bill is non-conforming British rapper, choreographer and artist Blackhaine. Ever since his debut EP Armour (2022), he’s building on an impressive oeuvre characterized by an inventive style of drill noise and poetic-nihilistic lyrics. Blackhaine’s live shows are aggressive and overwhelming. His latest EP Armour II was released in June and features a wonderful collaboration with Blood Orange.
