In Tales to Disturb, two dancers engage in dialogue with the audience, exploring how to convey their emotions through a minimalistic language of facial and bodily expression. An ambiguous space emerges when we communicate an emotion different from what we genuinely feel, often due to the necessity of concealing our true emotion. This grey zone raises an important question: can we still appear truthful when expressing staged emotions, or does the authentic emotion inevitably surface?
