out of hands
An intense journey into the pain of being a teenager
TRIGGER WARNINGS: this performance is experienced as intense by some viewers. There are scenes with loud music, theatre smoke and flashing lights. Some images refer to violence and sexuality.
Acrobatic bodies contort into impossible positions. A live band immerses you in a soundscape of gothic and metal. out of hands is a dance and music performance about the darker side of being young.
In ancient myths, youth often symbolises purity, innocence, and hope. But behind that idealised image lies a very different world—one of unbalanced bodies, dark thoughts, and awakening sexuality. In out of handss, a group of young performers takes you on an intense journey into their underworld—straight to the raw pain of being a teenager.
