Over the Rainbow! Waacking Battle hosted by Queer Leuven

Hosted by Queer Leuven and Leuven-based Waacking dancer Fabio Bollue (aka Fabijoow), Over The Rainbow! Waacking Battle culminates in the first night party of STUK START. Waacking is an underground dance style that has its roots in the gay clubs of Los Angeles in the 1970’s. It is mainly known for its fast and rotational arm movements, but goes way further than that in showing your inner self, and how the music makes you move. 

Over The Rainbow! is a series of international Waacking dance events to celebrate the history and culture of both the Waacking and LGBTQ+-community. During STUK START, you will get a glimpse of what Waacking is with talented dancers from all over Belgium, and then join the party on the floor with tunes by DJ Jordi.
