Belgian composer SKY H1 is no unknown figure in STUK: in 2017 she opened Artefact Sound with her futuristic cocktail of ethereal ambient and clubby rhythms. Now she returns with a surprising installation-performance in collaboration with visual artists Gosse de Kort and Nieke Koek. The Dutch duo developed a kinetic light installation with four rotating axes, commissioned by De School in Amsterdam. The rhythmic movements and blue hue of the artwork enhance the detailed sounds of SKY H1. SKY H1 and Four Axes and a Frame extended their collaboration with a residency leading up to their STUK START performance.
