Born out of Ghent’s vibrant jazz scene, this dynamic ensemble serves up a rich, authentic sound inspired by the likes of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and Benny Goodman. Don’t let the smaller quartet lineup fool you—packed with stellar musical personalities and tight, dancer-focused arrangements, their infectious groove and fiery energy will keep your feet moving all night long. DJ Tobi serves up an infectious mix of fiery swing jazz, jumpin’ rhythm ’n’ blues, and soul-drenched grooves! Straight out of Ghent and spinning at top festivals across Europe, he knows exactly how to read the floor and keep the energy soaring before, between, and after the live sets.

With their swinging style, De Leuvense Hoppers effortlessly transport any room straight back to the roaring twenties.

This group dances Lindy Hop, a swing partner dance that originated in the 1920s and remained popular for decades to come. The Hoppers’ main goal is to host an accessible, laid-back swing party at the STUKcafé. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who loves pure swing jazz vibes set to the tunes of legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, and Louis Armstrong.

Even without experience, you are more than welcome to take a step onto the dance floor—or simply come by to soak up the atmosphere!
