A dancer takes you on a journey through rhythms and stories that travel across time and continents. His body shifts and transforms, from sharp to fluid to playful, like a live animation that never stops changing.

Inspired by the vital role of dance in society and the Afro-American dance traditions, choreographer Anne Nguyen focuses on the body’s memory: What do we carry with us when we move from one place to another? And how do those traces live on in our bodies, mixing and leaving their mark? Performed by Ivorian dancer Mark-Wilfried Kouadio, this energetic solo draws on rhythms from Ivory Coast, infused with gospel, blues, and urban music. A contagious performance for young and old.
