Belgian-Bolivian producer Susobrino creates his own sound by interweaving traditional South American rhythms with electronics. The name "Susobrino" comes from the Spanish word "cousin" and reflects his role as a warm family member, honoring the traditions and stories of Latin American culture in his music. With an insatiable curiosity, he collects and plays all kinds of (folk) instruments and travels the world in search of field recordings and inspiration. In February 2023, he went touring in Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico, immersing himself in local musical cultures. A transformative journey that included many live concerts as well as studio sessions with guest musicians. This transformative trip served as the basis for his new album, which will be released in the form of no less than four EPs in 2024: SU, SO, BRI & NO.
