The Seed Eaters (spelen)

This deconstructed theatre piece consists of twelve short scenes and is played by local residents. The ‘actors’ activate sculptural scenes, which are illuminated one after the other using stylised scripts, edible props and loosely choreographed gestures. They change roles and language, and experiment with dramatic modes to sketch a fragile portrait of human relationships. In an eternal loop, of sorts, they make visible that which connects us and drives us apart again. After the live performance, visitors are invited to play the roles themselves and recreate a personalised version of the piece.
