STUK arts centre takes over former night club Manhattan with music, dance and visual arts. The evening kicks off with dance by choreographer Tuur Marinus. Inspired by electropop band LCD Soundsystem nine dancers form a carpet of movement and sound that is as elegant as it is clumsy. After that, drummer Lander Gyselinck (STUFF.) and keyboard virtuoso Adriaan Van de Velde (Pomrad) serve their hyperkinetic cocktail called Lander & Adriaan. Expect impossible rhythms, smooth r'n'b samples and mutated electro funk straight from the year 2035. After the concert, the night turns into a real musical turmoil with producer and keyboard wizzard Cheb Runner, mixing disco, Moroccan chaabi and gabber. With his AV show Angry Immigrant the man from Morocco & Brussels reflects on his experiences as a newcomer. Not just your regular party. If you want a break from all that music, you can enjoy the wonderful audiovisual work of artist Mathieu Kleyebe Abonnenc in the screening room.

➤ GETTING THERE: The Manhattan is situated next to the Vaart Leuven-Mechelen. / On foot : 20 min from Leuven train station / By bike: Cycle highway F8 and F3 / Public transport: Take the Outer ring road bus (line 600) and get of at stop Engels Plein / By car : parking Vaartkom.

➤ ACCESSIBILITY: The venue is accessible for wheelchair users. The regular sanitary facilities are accessible by elevator. Unfortunately, there is no accessible toilet.
