Workshop dance for non-dancers
Step, stop, turn, swing. Anyone can dance in this workshop for non-dancers.
I've never danced before. I'd like to, but I don't know how.... No worries! Stepping, turning, swinging your arms, jumping: Fase shows how simple movements can become dance. In this short workshop dance for non-dancers, long-time Rosas dancer Fumiyo Ikeda takes you under her wing. Through simple exercises accessible to all, you will move alone, in pairs, or with the whole group. At the end of this workshop, you will swarm into the Labozaal like a flock of birds: stepping or walking through space, leaderless yet coordinated, in ever-changing formations. Everyone is a dancer!
