Alex Schuurbiers - Siren (working title)

Alex Schuurbiers develops an audiovisual installation on female seaweed collectors in India

This residency marks the conclusion of the development phase of Siren: a film about three generations of women in southern India. A layered, organic reflection, cyclical like the moon and the tides. We explore how the analogue film projections communicate with each other in the space and with the dreamy guitar sounds of Bert Dockx.
