Lotte Nijsten & Gillis Van der Wee (Landforms) - There are tides and flows in this body

There are tides and flows in this body is a multi-channel installation at the intersection of sound art and sculptural practice. Using concrete water bowls and speakers, Lotte and Gillis (Landforms) create a watery, subterranean soundscape that explores the physical relationship between sound and space. For this work, they drew inspiration from Mesoamerican creation myths, which depict the underground as a fertile mother's womb.
