tout petit - Eye. Wink.

01.12.2025 — 19/12/2025

Artistic research in the service of production Eye. Wink.(Premiere 14/2/26.) In this production, two dancers join the audience in searching for a different way of looking. At themselves, at each other, and at what arises in the mutual gaze between people.

This playful and surprising dance performance is all about encounter. Looking together, moving together. It involves the use of special glasses (developed by artist Ief Spincemaille), which direct, distort and open up the gaze of dancers and spectators on the world. The glasses have an autonomous mechanism, with a life of their own. This creates unforeseen situations, which are used to play a challenging game. For this project, choreographers Lies Cuyvers and Ciska Vanhoyland have joined forces with visual artist Ief Spincemaille for a production at the intersection of dance, visual art and performance art.
