Internship Artefact - assistant public relations and guide coordination

Translate our Artefact exhibition for different target groups and support our fantastic team of guides!

In the run-up to Artefact 2026: An Exhibition as a Massage (12 February - 1 March 2026), STUK is looking for a motivated intern to join the public relations and tour guide team. Under the supervision of the public relations officer/guide coordinator, you will help to translate the Artefact exhibition to different target groups. You will familiarise yourself with the exhibition, develop guided tours and lesson plans, follow up on guided tours, support the guides and give guided tours yourself, welcome groups and give workshops. Artefact is the annual contemporary arts festival at STUK, featuring an exciting exhibition, performances, lectures and workshops. The festival welcomes around 15,000 people every year.

Internship period

Early December 2025 to 13 March 2026

Who are we looking for?

  • You have an affinity with contemporary visual art and STUK's Image programme

  • You write and speak Dutch and English very well

  • You are accurate, punctual, sensitive and communicative

  • You are proactive and can work independently within deadlines

  • You can function well in a (festival) team.

  • Having a network in Leuven is an asset

  • You are willing to work evenings and weekends (largely limited to the Artefact festival)
