Extra shapes
Extra Shapes is a dance performance, a concert for speakers and a light show all at the same time. The stage is divided into three equal parts: sound stays on one side, light goes in the middle, and dance is on the other side. An identical 17 minute loop is repeated three times, while the audience turns around the work and sees the same piece from different angles. Extra Shapes plays with both the affinity and the oppositions between sound, light and choreography and uses the audience’s view to complete the work.
