In her installations Mirthe Tibos plays with soft sculptures invoking sensory immersion and physical presence. Designed to create a peaceful and soothing space, they present a gateway to serenity, distant from intense stimuli. The sculptures are there to gently guide visitors into a state of tranquil consciousness. People are free to roam and make use of the objects as there are no rules nor guidelines given. It’s merely there to unwind and phase out external stressors.

Lupe Arens is born in Leuven and recently graduated as an audiovisual artist in Brussels. As an artist, she focuses mainly on making short films, photo projects, performance art and music. Currently, Lupe is immersing herself in curating and organizing art events. During Eindfeest she will present her video work The First Sin in loop.
The First Sin (2023) is a video work that critiques and contextualizes the image of women in cinema. The use of makeup, costume, set and foley sound creates a path that leads to the various references within this work. Length: 8 minutes.

ugne&maria is a collaboration between Marija Rasa Kudabaite and Ugnė Vyliaudaite, originally from Lithuania but now based in Belgium. They made their live debut in Brussels in 2016 and continued experimenting with violin, synthesizers and sampling techniques. Their compositions have a down-tempo as well as a dance-oriented approach, including multilayered compositional principles and improvisation. With a mosaic of samples and carefully triggered field recordings, in dialogue with Vyliaudaitė’s violin, the duo makes intricate and calming music that stands far from ambient. Snippets of text or recognisable samples serve as textures rather than as location markers or figures to which one could reliably ascribe meaning. The electronics offer hints of house music or half-remembered techno, the violin bathes the entire thing in a wash of otherworldly elegance
