Jazz op zondag: Bodem
Bodem is the trio of Anke Verslype on drums (Aki, Roxie Horse, e.a.), Willem Malfliet on guitar (Woolvs, ONZIN, e.a.), and composer Adia Vanheerentals on soprano saxophone (Blue Heathens Jazz Band, Fanfaar Fatal, e.a.).
Their original compositions move between modern jazz harmonies and catchy, poppy melodies enriched with picturesque percussion. Bodem is an instrumental group that excels in lyrical melodies, collective interaction, enchanting guitar sounds and atmospheric percussion.

The new STUK season is here, which means it's time for a new series of Jazz op zondag concerts in STUKcafé! Last year was packed with sparkling jazz energy, and we stay on that course this fall. The recipe remains unchanged: every Sunday we offer free jazz concerts (or dj sets) in the most beautiful café in Leuven. Every month you get two live concerts, one special evening with jam by LUCA Jazz, and a dj set with groovy jazz records.
