Jazz op zondag: Luca Jazz band & jam session

Our monthly LUCA Jazz night with a student concert and an open jam.

STUK invites the jazz department of LUCA School of Arts for a concert and jam session at STUKcafé.

The Jazz Department of LUCA, Campus Lemmensinstituut in Leuven, is a small but vibrant program within one of the four Flemish institutes for higher music education. The evening kicks off with a performance by LUCA students, after which the stage opens up for an open jam session.

The new STUK season has arrived, which automatically means a new Jazz on Sunday series at STUKcafé! Last year was full of vibrant jazz energy, and we will continue that trend in the autumn of 2025. The formula remains the same: free jazz concerts (or DJ sets) every Sunday in Leuven's most beautiful café. Every month, you can enjoy two live concerts, a special jazz evening curated by LUCA Jazz, and a DJ set with groovy jazz tunes. The programme is constantly being updated, so keep an eye on the STUK website!
