Jazz op zondag: Nele Uyttendaele & Daan Jacob Jazz duo
Nele Uyttendaele and Daan Jacob, two jazz musicians from Aalst and Diest, met during their studies at the jazz department of LUCA School of Arts in Leuven. At the Leuven Jazz Festival they discovered the joy of playing in duo. Their inspiration comes from the brilliant Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass, who recorded multiple albums in duo as well. Nele's warm, full voice combined with Daan's excellent guitar talent makes for a musical journey through a challenging jazz repertoire.
The new STUK season is here, which means it's time for a new series of Jazz op zondag concerts in STUKcafé! Last year was packed with sparkling jazz energy, and we stay on that course this fall. The recipe remains unchanged: every Sunday we offer free jazz concerts (or dj sets) in the most beautiful café in Leuven. Every month you get two live concerts, one special evening with jam by LUCA Jazz, and a dj set with groovy jazz records.
