Like the Full Moon Says

A witty and tender performance that inspires us to fully embrace the passing of time

Like the full moon says, everything will come back.
-
Teodor Currentzis

Bérengère Bodin and Ivan Fatjo met more than twenty years ago during their dance training in Angers. Both went on to build successful international dance careers. Like the full moon says is a celebration of their reunion and of life in their forties. As dancers, they may no longer have the energy of their twenties – their physical strength has decreased, their buttocks have become less firm, their hair has turned grey – but when they listen carefully to their bodies, they have a valuable story to tell. With physical decline comes a growing desire to reinvent themselves, to explore new experiences, and to break free from familial, cultural, and social influences. The body’s strength, at any age, lies in its ability to dream. This funny and tender performance aims to inspire the audience to fully embrace the passage of time.
