How will love, desire and relationships evolve under the influence of robots and Artificial Intelligence? It is the main question for international sound art collective Soundwalk Collective's project Lovotic. The ever more intense entanglement of man and machine will create new forms of intimacy, gender and sexuality. In order to investigate this, Soundwalk Collective invited actors Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe, queer theoretician Paul B. Preciado and musicians Lyra Pramuk and Atom™. Their voice, text and sound played a part in a 27 minute long composition that takes the listener on a musical and narrative trip. Some voices were created by self-learning algorithms that generated texts based on fragments from 20th century texts on sex and gender.
