ONE2PLAY festival
ONE2PLAY (STUK - 10 - 12 May) is the first edition of an international festival on socially relevant, artistic video games. The ideal chance for young and old to discover and experience games.
ONE2PLAY brings you a selection of the best indie games:
Gris, a collaboration between a game studio and artist Conrad Roset, about a girl who gets trapped in her own world after a painful event. BAFTA winner Florence tells the story of two people who fall in love, but grow apart again. Bury me, my love gives an intense insight in the hellish trek of a Syrian refugee.
Sneak previews and Belgian games
The cherry on the cake is the presentation of brand-new, not yet released Belgian games and creations. The expo closes with a series of ingenious installation games like Pixel Picasso, Fugl and the arcade games of Devillé Arcade.
Live soundtrack & docus
On Saturday night, the Antwerp band Mount Venus plays a live soundtrack to the games No Man’s Sky, Shape of the World (part of the expo) and Journey.
(Sa 21:00, free in STUK Café).
On Saturday and Sunday afternoon, Cinema Zed presents a series of documentaries on game culture and development, in Cinema ZED STUK.
