REbis 7
In a visceral and visual performance, Danielle Allouma & Arco Renz pay tribute to metamorphosis and the human quest for freedom
Last year, Danielle Allouma impressed with the solo REvolutions 2349, in which she whirls for an hour-long. This season she returns with REbis 7, the second part of a trilogy in collaboration with choreographer Arco Renz that investigates the power and the contemporary potentialities of the revolving body.
In this visceral and visual performance dance, music and light interact with extroverted garment creations and sculptural entities. Danielle Allouma’s revolving body becomes an immersive, intensely sensual and meditative portal. REbis 7 is a tribute to metamorphosis, to the human quest for freedom, and to our longing for emancipation from binary thought patterns.
