1983. David Byrne ascends the stage - armed with an acoustic guitar and a boombox - for an intense solo version of Psycho Killer. Built up with footage from three consecutive concerts, not only the music then swells, but also his company on stage. Together, the Talking Heads reach a climax with Burning Down the House. What follows is an iconic mix of performance and cinema that at least doubled Byrne's number of groupies.

Stop Making Sense entered the history books as one of the best concert films ever made. Restored into its current state, Jonathan Demmes's (Silence of the Lambs) documentary endures any layer of dust, even after 40 anniversaries. The combination of the Speaking in Tongues album, which gave Byrne a lot of hits, a striking costume and tightly directed choreography turned the film into a huge success.
